Full Support Mage Level 160 Cap by Raider_

I have been building a support as my main since I started the game. It started with me always having agro and just kiting with buffs and heals while party killed. Now that the game has progressed, I have had more of an actual support role. I have been asked about it and a few have started their supports off of mine though I have never shared my build. I have been asked to, so here it is.

I'll start with stats. I first tried with magic device cause of the range, which was an int-agi build. I was able to easily keep up MP with attack speed, but I switched to a shield and staff way for the buffs and gaurd rate.

Auras
Combos do not work with Auras in the Support Tree.
**Auras do not lower party stats, only the caster.**

When I start a battle I put up Protection/ Aegis first for party.
The 3 Support Skills Auras I always try to have up are the Life Recovery, MP Recharge, and High Cycle. They keep HP and MP up really well for the whole party and make the fight faster with the Cast Speed boost. If you keep those 3 up and reach the party you are pretty set on the party's health.

In the description of the skills, it says it will decrease the a stat of the player in place of the buff until the player takes damage. "The Player" it is referring to is the caster. It is very important to know what will be deducted on yourself.
Debuffs
Life Recovery: Defence
Mana Recharge: Attack
Brave Aura: Accuracy
Magic Barrier: Dodge Rate
High Cycle: MP Restoration
Immunity: Attack Speed
Quick Motion: Attack MP Recovery --ampr--
Fast Reaction: Cast Speed

With deductions in mind, try to buff yourself to compensate.

Example:
Mana Recharge before High Cycle is something I manually choose to do so my MP regain doesn't get effected as much. Every little bit counts!
Magic Barrier before Life Recovery in case you get hit while casting.

***
Some bosses you can not use the Auras in the Support Tree; You will get hit too much from AOE. But that doesn't mean you can't support. I'll use Nurethoth as an example here:
Keep up Protection, Aegis, Gloria, Warcry, and bless for buffs. Mini heal for main heals.

Combos
Be very careful when creating a combo. There have been many times I have been in a combo and need to break out to heal. You always need to be ready to get out of routine.
Combo1: Bless>Sanctuary (save)>War Cry (swift)>Gloria (Swift)>MP Charge (Swift) -100MP
**CP used: 8pts

Combo2: Gloria>Gaurdian (save)>Sanctuary (swift)>Bless (swift)>MP Charge (swift) -100MP
**CP used: 8
**** I tried Gaurdian, it did not work with my build with the way I am building it at the moment. Maybe in the future I will change and work something out, but Gaurdian does not seem to fit a support build as well. It is more for being up close to boss, which, with tank, is what I try not to do most of the time... I am still debating whether to go partial DPS or partial tank in the far future updates****
**Edit** I found myself having to tank more for random things; when a tank wasn't around I would offer my support as a meat shield. So Gaurdian is back to help keep agro in those instances, but probably will stay as a side Skill for -just in case-.**

You will most likely pull mobs during boss battles, so I recommend staying with another party member. I usually stay by the tank so I am seen and others can help me out.

I am still working on it, obviously as we are nowhere near games end. But this is my support build and I hope it does help inspire and help bring more decent supports into the game as tanks are becoming called for more. And like I tell everyone, the tanks HP is my HP, my MP is the tanks hp. Let's bring teams into this game. It is possible to play without supports, I have another attacker character. But it makes battles a lot more easier, especially when you want to try fighting on Hard mode +. With all the decent DPS out there, and you compensate with buffs, battles shouldn't be any longer than with a full DPS squad. Only difference is little to no deaths.
